These terms apply to your use of Kinbright: Parenting Tips & Co-Parenting (the "App") provided by Ecom Swift LLC ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App you agree to them. They apply together with our Privacy Policy and the Google Play Terms of Service.
Kinbright gives parents and caregivers parenting tips and organisation tools: a planner with tasks, a parenting schedule, events, expenses, a handover checklist and house rules, plus journal reflections, weekly reviews, family tools, reminders and optional co-parent sharing by share code or QR code. Your data is stored on your device. We may add, change or remove features over time.
The App is for parents and caregivers aged 18 and over. It is not designed for children and is not part of Google Play's Families program. You are responsible for the information you enter about your children and for how you share it.
The App provides general information and organisation tools. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it does not diagnose any condition. Talk to a qualified professional, such as a doctor, pediatrician, therapist or lawyer, about your own situation. In an emergency, call your local emergency number. The emergency and helpline buttons only open your phone's dialer; the App does not place calls.
The schedule, expenses and messages in the App are records that you keep for your own organisation. They are not legal documents and do not replace court orders or written agreements between you and your co-parent.
The tips and other content in the App are original. They are informed by public guidance from organisations such as WHO, CDC, NHS, AAP (healthychildren.org), UNICEF, NSPCC, Zero to Three, the Harvard Center on the Developing Child, Safe Kids Worldwide, RoSPA and NHTSA. We are not affiliated with any of them, and naming them does not mean they endorse the App.
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the App on your own devices. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or modify the App, or remove its notices, except where the law allows it.
Use the App lawfully and in good faith. Do not use it to harass, threaten or monitor another person, to share another person's information without a right to do so, or to try to interfere with the App, its ads or its purchases. Share codes and QR codes can be read by anyone who holds them, so send them only to your co-parent or carer.
Your entries are yours and stay on your device. We don't claim any rights to them. Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are switched off for this data, so you are responsible for keeping your own copies; the App offers a JSON backup file and other exports. Using Delete everything in Settings or uninstalling the App removes your data from the device, and we cannot recover it.
The App, its design, text and other content belong to Ecom Swift LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. These terms do not give you ownership of any of it, apart from your own entries.
The App is free to use with ads from Google AdMob, as described in the Privacy Policy. Premium removes ads and unlocks the PRO items. Remove Ads is a separate one-time purchase that turns off ads only. Watching a rewarded video is always optional: it unlocks one PRO item once.
Purchases are made through Google Play Billing and charged to your Google account. The Premium subscriptions (premium_monthly and premium_yearly) renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel them in Google Play, at the price shown there. You can cancel at any time under Payments and subscriptions in Google Play. Cancelling stops future renewals, and your access continues to the end of the paid period. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription. Premium lifetime (premium_lifetime) and Remove Ads (remove_ads) are one-time purchases. We never see your card details. Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be error free, always available, or suited to your particular family situation. To the extent the law allows, we do not give any warranty, express or implied.
To the extent the law allows, Ecom Swift LLC is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, lost data, missed reminders or notifications, decisions you make using the App's content, or disputes between you and any other person, arising from use of the App. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms. The new version will be posted on this page with a new date, and continued use means you accept it. You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
