Arabic Language Tutor: Privacy Policy

Arabic Language Tutor is made by Ecom Swift LLC. It helps you learn Modern Standard Arabic. You don't need an account, and we don't run any server of our own to collect your data: we don't receive, collect or sell your personal information.
What the app does on your device
- Lessons, tests and progress: your completed lessons, scores, streaks, review schedule, achievements and settings are stored only in the app's private storage on your device. They are not sent to us or to anyone else. You can reset them in Settings, and uninstalling the app removes them.
- Reminders (optional): if you turn on the daily reminder, Android's WorkManager schedules a local notification on your device. Android may ask for notification permission; nothing leaves your phone.
- Pronunciation and listening: spoken examples use your device's built-in text-to-speech engine. The text to be spoken is passed to that engine, which is provided by your phone maker or by Google (or another voice provider you installed) and is governed by that provider's own privacy policy. The app does not record your voice and does not use the microphone.
- Pronunciation check (optional): if you use a speaking exercise, the app asks Android's built-in speech recognition service to listen and compare what you say. The app itself does not record, store or upload your voice. Depending on your phone, the speech service (usually provided by Google) may process the audio to return text, under its own privacy policy. No microphone permission is requested by the app; Android shows its own prompt. You can skip speaking exercises.
- Sharing and widget (optional): if you share your progress, the app creates an image on your device and hands it to the Android share sheet; you choose where it goes. The optional home screen widget shows your streak and reviews due using data stored on your device.
Internet use
The core lessons work offline. The app uses the internet to load ads (free version) and to check your subscription with Google Play.
What we do NOT do
- We do not operate servers that collect your learning data.
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not require an account or login.
Advertising
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising identifier and similar device information to serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud; this data is sent to Google encrypted in transit. In regions where consent is required (such as the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), you are asked for consent through Google's User Messaging Platform before ads are shown, and you can review your choice later in Settings. Premium turns off ads and stops ad requests. Learn more about how Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Purchases
Arabic Language Tutor Premium ("Remove ads") is a monthly subscription handled by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment details. You can cancel anytime in Google Play.
Deleting your data
Everything the app stores is on your device. Use Settings > Reset all progress, clear the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app to remove it.
Children
The app is a general audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
